Donaco International Successfully Launches its Heng Sheng VIP Club
Sep 21, 2015 By Ben Visser

Donaco International Limited (ASX:DNA) has confirmed that the Heng Sheng VIP club at the Star Vegas casino Poipet, Cambodia was successfully launched on 20 September 2015.

Heng Sheng is one of Macau’s leading VIP gaming promotors. Under the three year deal, Heng Sheng will bring their VIP players to a new dedicated gaming facility at the Star Vegas Resort & Club. This has expanded the customer base of the Star Vegas beyond its current patronage by Thai customers.

The launch was attended by more than 400 VIP payers, who enjoyed dragon dances, lion dances, and fine Chinese cuisine from the new restaurant.

Thirty new baccarat tables were in operation for the launch, with significant capacity for expansion available.

The new gaming facility has its own separate ground entrance. There is no impact on the existing business of the Star Vegas, as there is plenty of space available within the existing building, which covers 57,000 square metres.

Managing Director and CEO, Mr Joey Lim commented, “Today marks the beginning of our exciting new partnership with the Heng Sheng Group.”

“I am pleased to witness the commencement of the next phase of growth for Donaco, and for the Star Vegas in particular.”

“Further, I am very proud of the efforts made by our team at the Star Vegas, who have essentially fitted out and prepared an entirely new VIP casino within a matter of weeks. This is a testament of the quality and capacity of the Star Vegas property, and the professionalism and dedication of our team.”

DNA’s share price has declined approximately 37 per cent over the last twelve months, however following this morning’s announcement, DNA’s share price has gained 1.55 per cent (1500 AEST).
